Kyler Murray, Kenyan Drake and the Rest of the Cardinals Fantasy Air Raid Fizzles Against Rams

The Arizona Air Raid has been quite the fantasy roller coaster this season and it fell apart at the worst possible time.

The Arizona Air Raid had been on a fantasy upswing over the last few weeks. Kyler Murray started to run around and make plays with his legs. Kenyan Drake finally got his chance to breakout and be a lead ball carrier. And both Christian Kirk and Larry Fitzgerald were getting peppered with targets. That was until they squared off against the Rams, who seemed to be ripe for the picking…

Kyler, who was battling through a hamstring injury, saved a very pathetic day with a late score on the ground. On the other hand, Drake and David Johnson totaled 46 yards on 17 total carries. Larry Fitzgerald was some sort of a bright spot, grabbing six balls for 56 yards, while Kirk was a zero, totaling 23 yards on a paltry three receptions.

Unfortunately for you Air Raid owners, the team has a pretty tough schedule ahead for the fantasy playoffs. They get the Steelers at home, followed by the Browns, and then they travel to the always hostile 12th man to take on the Seahawks. If you’re a Kyler owner, it wouldn’t hurt to grab a streamer off the waiver wire just in case his hamstring injury is more serious than the team has led on, or if the upcoming matchups are scaring you away.
