Josh Jacobs Runs Through Chargers, Set to Dominate Fantasy Stretch Run

Josh Jacobs has been incredible this season and his ROS schedule will allow him to become the ultimate stretch run hero.

The pre-fantasy draft love for the first running back drafted was underwhelming. It seems like David Montgomery, Miles Sanders, and others were getting more love than Josh Jacobs. But through nine games, it’s clear that Jacobs was the fantasy prize of the rookie class. In his last five games, the former Bama back has averaged 20 fantasy points per game and has the look of a top five RB rest of season. Although the game-winning touchdown sort of saved his Week 10, he finished with 71 yards and a score on the ground and added another 30 yards on three receptions. His 19 point outing marked the fourth time in five games where he eclipsed 16 fantasy points.

To make Jacobs’ owners even harder, his ROS schedule is an absolute joke. He gets the pathetic Bengals (2nd most points to RBs), Jets (11th), Chiefs (3rd), Titans (14th), Jags (18th) and Chargers again to wrap up the fantasy season. That schedule has stretch run hero and fantasy title written all over it. If you were able to snag Jacobs and pair him with one (Dalvin) or two stud running backs, you’ve got yourself quite the league-winning stable.
