Noah Fant Picks Up Emmanuel Sanders’ Fantasy Slack, Buries Browns in Process

The rookie tight end finally had his fantasy explosion in Week 9 against the Browns.

The uber-athletic tight end is starting to breakout after a slow start to his rookie campaign. In the two games since Emmanuel Sanders was jettisoned to the Bay Area, Noah Fant has been targeted 12 times, highlighted by his three catch, 115 yard and one touchdown game in an upset against the Browns. The play of the game was his heroic 75-yard touchdown where he pinballed through the Browns’ pathetic defense en-route to the endzone. Even with a former no-name sixth round quarterback making his first career NFL start, Fant possesses TE1 upside for fantasy’s toughest position.

The Broncos are one of six teams that have a Bye Week in Week 10 and they return to action against the Vikings in Week 11. They don’t have the juiciest stretch run schedule, but if Allen continues to lean on his tight end, he’s a matchup nightmare waiting to happen.

Fant is still available in 88 percent of Yahoo leagues and has risen up to Wolf’s TE16 (+4 vs ECR) on his Rest of Season Big Board.
