Adrian Peterson is Fantasy Sewage and Shouldn’t be in the NFL

Old man AP has no business being on fantasy rosters.

Adrian Peterson will head to Canton once he retires, but right now, he sucks. He’s at the point where he’s just cashing [much-needed] paychecks at this point. The 34 year old somehow plodded his way to a 1,000 yard season and the shitty Redskins rewarded that accomplishment by re-signing him in the offseason. Although his line and quarterback(s) are horrific, his performance this season shows that he’s over the hill. Through three games, he has 33 carries for 90 yards, which adds up to a putrid 2.7 yards per carry. His name will always carry weight with the dummies, but in reality, he has no business being rostered in fantasy at this point in his career.

With Derrius Guice sidelined yet again, the Redskins were forced into making the old man their early-down back. Chris Thompson has total control of the passing downs, yet the team is always losing, so the gamescript always favors Thompson.

Even in a game against the shitty Giants, the Redskins were unable to get Peterson going, as he tallied 28 yards on 11 carries. With the Patriots up next, Peterson has a 0.00 percent chance of making any fantasy impact. It’s not even a matter of benching him anymore. Cut him.
