Giants’ TE Evan Engram destroyed an otherwise fairly solid Cowboys defense for 11 catches, 116 yards and a TD on Sunday. Engram led all TEs in targets with 14 — a number only exceeded by Jets’ WR Jamison Crowder in Week 1.
It should come as no surprise to anyone who has been paying attention that Engram is the number one passing option in this offense. Is being Eli Manning’s top target a double edged sword? Of course. To say Manning is limited as a quarterback is a massive understatement, but 14 targets is still 14 targets — and Engram may just be that good.
The Wolf has Engram ranked as his TE3 overall this week (1 spot above the ECR) and has him in the coveted “next tier behind Travis Kelce” group, sandwiched right between George Kittle and Zach Ertz. Playing the Bills this week, you can play Engram as a TE1 with huge upside potential. The Big 3 at TE may have become a Big 4.
