Baker Mayfield Punks Hue Jackson, Continues to Thrive Under Freddie Kitchens

Baker, Baker touchdown maker.

Baker Mayfield got to face off (kinda) against his old head coach on Sunday when the Browns took on the pitiful Bengals, and just like we all thought he would, he took advantage of it. Mayfield bent over their in-state rivals when he completed 19-of-26 pass attempts for 258 yards and a whopping four touchdowns — which went for about 26 fantasy points. Mayfield is one of the best streaming options at his respective position and is still surprisingly available in 45 percent of leagues.

In his last three games with Kitchens’ calling the shots, Baker has put up 19, 23 and 26 fantasy points. Kitchens is getting the running backs more involved and his Bruce Arians’ ties are showing. In the second series against the Bengals, the Browns went five-wide no-huddle and let Mayfield do his thing. Even without a legit outside receiver and getting next-to-nothing from Jarvis Landry, Baker is spreading the ball around and taking what the defense gives him.

For those who streamed Mayfield against the porous Bengals, you can hang onto him since he looks like the legit playmaker he was at Oklahoma and has the Texans, Panthers (who are a sinking ship), Broncos and Bengals to finish out the fantasy season.
