Stefon Diggs Returns From Injury With a Fantasy WR1 Performance

A healthy Stefon Diggs cannot be covered.

Stefon Diggs caught 13-of-18 targets for 126 yards and a touchdown in the Vikings’ Week 11 loss to Chicago.

Diggs did almost all his damage in the second half. He could have had a bigger game, but Kirk Cousins overthrew him for what would have been a 40-plus yard touchdown. Diggs was fully healthy after sitting out with a rib injury before Minnesota’s bye. With Adam Thielen getting held in check out of the slot, Cousins was locked on to Diggs for most of the night. Diggs got the majority of his yards after the catch and was a bright spot in a game the Vikings struggled to move their offense. He’ll remain a WR2 for a likely shootout with the Packers in Week 12.

Stefon Diggs had been dealing with injuries for the past couple of weeks which really put a damper on his overall production. This new clean bill of health has him ready to go, and he more than delivered Sunday night against the Bears. He was really the only consistent success for Minnesota and put up gaudy numbers. For as great as Thielen has been this season, Diggs has shown he can be just as good when given the opportunity. With teams focusing so much attention on Thielen, Diggs will benefit going forward.
