D.J. Moore Represents a High-Risk, High-Reward Fantasy Stretch Run After Breakout Game vs Lions

DJ Moore is electric, but is tough to trust.

Rookie WR D.J. Moore exploded against the Lions for the best game of his young career. The former Terp corralled seven of his eight targets for 157 yards and a touchdown. What’s crazy, is that his day would have been even better if he didn’t run out of gas on a 82-yard catch-and-run and get caught from behind. Moore has boomed twice in the past four weeks, with two busts coming in the middle of those two outbursts. His inconsistent number of targets will make him a scary option, especially during your stretch run, but if you find yourself as a significant underdog, his blow up potential will be tough to ignore.

Only 39-percent owned, Moore is a risky play going forward, but he should be a priority on your waiver wire if you’re going to be hurting with next week’s disgusting bye weeks (Rams and Chiefs). He gets a tough Seattle team at home next week, but the rest of his schedule is a fantasy wet dream, with the Bucs, Browns and Saints to wrap up the fantasy season. Hopefully Cam Newton has realized that Moore is electric with the ball in his hands, and can take any reception to the crib.
