LeSean McCoy Turns Back the Clocks to Fantasy Relevance

Shady BACK?!

LeSean McCoy rushed 26 times for 113 yards and two touchdowns and caught his lone target for five yards in the Bills’ Week 10 win over the Jets.

The Bills embarrassed the Jets 41-10 in a game that will likely seal Todd Bowles’ fate in New York. A colossal Weeks 1-9 fantasy bust, McCoy roared on Sunday against a Jets run defense that has fallen apart since a strong start. Matt Barkley gave Buffalo its most competent quarterback play all season, although the Bills will likely turn back to top-ten pick Josh Allen after their Week 11 bye. McCoy will remain a volatile RB2 option down the stretch.

Bills RB LeSean McCoy looked like his old self this past Sunday with his first 100 yard performance of the season coming against the Jets. He was very favorably helped with a positive game script at the Bills got up early and got up big. That lead to 26 carries on the day, and despite McCoy’s bye week, he has a pretty favorable schedule upcoming that could lead to more productive days with the Jaguars, Dolphins and Jets all on deck.

He sure isn’t the RB1 we had a few years ago, but McCoy offers RB2 upside with high usage against softer competition. He could be a great flex back for teams already loaded at RB.
