Corey Davis’ Fantasy Stock is Plummeting Amidst Titans’ Anemic Offense

We wouldn't blame you if you "hate cut" Corey Davis.

Corey Davis caught 3-of-7 passes for 10 yards in Week 7 against the Chargers. It’s another rough game from Davis, who was led to 24 yards last week. Davis was out-targeted by Tajae Sharpe and couldn’t come down with an end-zone look in the fourth quarter. He hasn’t been on the same page with Marcus Mariota over the last few weeks. Davis will be a boerderline WR3 when the Titans come out of their bye in Week 9.

Watching the Titans offense has been a form of torture the past few weeks, especially when you own some of their players in fantasy this year. Davis was expected to have a much larger role in the offense this season, but the offense as a whole has been sputtering as of late. Davis has caught one touchdown this year, which is surprising when Delanie Walker has been out the entire year. Mariota and the passing game haven’t had much success, and now Sharpe is working his way into the receiving game after recording 9 targets in their last game.

Davis appears to be on the WR3 fringe going forward, as he’s still the clear top guy but just isn’t garnering enough work or attention to be a reliable and consistent starter for your team. With how deep the receiver position is this season, make sure to have options on hand if Davis continues to struggle.
