Christian Kirk is a High-Priority Waiver Wire Option as Josh Rosen’s Primary Target

These two rookies are forming quite the bond.

Rookie speedster Christian Kirk has formed quite the rapport with fellow rookie signal caller, Josh Rosen. Kirk, who grew up in Arizona and was photographed as a youngster with his idol, Larry Fitzgerald, has led the Cardinals in receiving for the third time in four weeks. In Week 6 against the Vikings, Kirk caught six of seven targets for 77 yards. Kirk didn’t find the end zone this week, but his elite speed gives him the chance to take it the distance on any given reception — as was apparent on his 75-yard score in Week 5.

Although the stat-line didn’t look like much, Kirk’s consistency and consistency with Rosen makes him a must-add on the Week 7 Waiver Wire. The rookie ranks eighth in the league with an impressive 80.65 percent catch rate, catching a whopping 25 of his 31 targets for 311 yards and a touchdown. What makes his production even more impressive is that he’s technically playing out of position. Kirk mostly manned the slot at Texas A&M, and is currently stuck behind his idol, who just so happens to still be one of the premiere slot wideouts in the game. Kirk is still available in 86 percent of leagues and should be a high priority add this week.
