Daily Fantasy Stock Report: Browns WR Corey Coleman breaks hand in practice

Every morning we compile the most important fantasy football links of the day for you to stay up-to-date and ahead of your fantasy opponents… This is your number one place for beat writer blabber, injury news, transaction tracking, and fantasy analysis from the experts who taught us a thing or two.

The bad news in Cleveland keeps on coming. Corey Coleman broke his hand in practice Wednesday and the Browns are being picked off by the injury bug one by one. Coleman had a huge day with Josh McCown under center, and would have been new starter Cody Kessler‘s top target. This gives a good bump to both Terrell Pryor and Gary Barnidge stock.

So Patriots reporter Jeff Howe said that he’s noticed a difference in Rob Gronkowski‘s attitude recently and believes Thursday could be the day he finally suits up. With Jacoby Brissett likely to be under center Thursday night, it’s not a good opportunity to bring Gronk back into your lineup. If he is back and healthy, wait until Jimmy Garoppolo or Tom Brady is back at quarterback.

Titans tight end Delanie Walker is also dealing with a hamstring injury as he missed practice Wednesday. Walker is QB Marcus Mariota‘s top target so him missing time would be significant to the offense. If that’s the case, then Tajae Sharpe would get a huge boost in the receiver rankings.

From the sounds of it, coach Andy Reid might sit Jamaal Charles one more week to get him some extra rest. Spencer Ware would be the big beneficiary with Charles is kept out. Even if Charles suits up, it would be likely that he seems limited action in a timeshare with Ware.

Jets wide receiver Brandon Marshall missed practice again today. He’s still dealing with that nasty looking MCL injury and is in serious jeopardy of missing Sunday’s game. Eric Decker was rumored to be questionable as well, but he seems like a lock to play this week. If Marshall does miss time, Decker’s value goes way up this week.

Quick Hits

  • Lions tight end Eric Ebron was held out of practice Wednesday
  • Seahawks receivers Doug Baldwin and Tyler Lockett are both expected to play Week 3
  • Running back Thomas Rawls however, was limited in practice
  • Patriots QB Jimmy Garoppolo is doubtful for Thursday.
