Keenan Allen Clear Fantasy WR1 After 14 Reception Performance vs Steelers

Philip Rivers looked Keenan Allen's way 19 TIMES!

With his huge night against the Steelers on Sunday — 14 catches, 148 yards, 1 TD and 1 2PT — Keenan Allen has now found the end zone in 4 straight weeks. We’ve been telling you for a month now that Allen is the kind of wideout that can win you your fantasy league this year. And Sunday proved that point even further, as his 19 targets were a team-high and a season-high for Allen and he made grab after grab in traffic, further solidifying the trust QB Philip Rivers has in him. Allen has now topped 17 PPR points in each game since LA’s Week 8 bye, and could be the weapon that carries your team through the playoffs.

During the Chargers’ Week 7 game, Keenan Allen had a mini-meltdown in London when Philip Rivers didn’t see him wide open in the end zone, instead forcing a pass to Mike Williams that was dropped. Allen yelled and kicked a pylon before carrying his tirade to the sideline, yelling at nobody in particular while coaches tried to calm him down. The Chargers had a bye following this game, and in the time since that bye week, Allen leads all WRs in targets per game (11) and fantasy points per game (23). I think it’s safe to say Rivers and Chargers OC Ken Wisenhunt heard him.

Allen will look to continue his hot streak next week against a Bengals defense that’s 11th in points allowed to WRs in 2018.
