There wasn’t a huge concern regarding Ezekiel Elliott‘s workload or health, but it’s nice to get reassurance that the rookie is not hitting a wall and that his team is not looking to rest him during the fantasy season. The former Buckeye leads all runners with 243 carries on the season and 1,199 rushing yards. Ride this man to a fantasy championship — but don’t forget to handcuff him with Alfred Morris (just to be safe).

[Brandin] Cooks and sources have hinted at his growing frustration with his usage throughout this season — including the zero targets on 45 snaps on Sunday.”

It’s tough to complain about your lack of targets (0) when your team puts up 49 points — but that’s the NFL for ya. Brandin Cooks has had his fantasy moments, yet he’s been extremely underwhelming this season. He actually is third on his team in targets per game behind Michael Thomas and the Blonde Muskrat. But if there is anything that can fix an unhappy receiver, it is a healthy serving of the Detroit Lions secondary that will be hand delivered to the dome on Sunday. Expect Drew Brees to get Cooks involved early and often to keep his No. 1 wideout happy.

This year has been a fantasy wash for Heath Miller‘s replacement in Pittsburgh. Most thought Ladarius Green would bring his elite athleticism and flourish in Ben Roethlisberger‘s offense, but he’s battled a couple of injuries and has only seen the field in a limited role since returning from PUP. With Mike Tomlin showing optimism in the talented tight end, Green represents a high ceiling against the Giants. If you own Delanie Walker and feel like rolling the dice, roll with Ladarius this week.

Quick Hits:

  • Adrian Peterson is ‘probably ahead of schedule.’ Okay.
  • Falcons’ CB Desmond Trufant is done for the season
  • RG3 is cleared for contact and is a must add for your playoff run (jk)
