Note: There was absolutely no news today, so don’t tell me I didn’t warn ya.

Since Rob Gronkowski took that monster hit from Earl Thomas, he’s yet to be seen on the practice field and hasn’t been cleared to fly — meaning he’ll most likely be sitting home when his team travels to San Francisco. With Tom Brady‘s No. 1 guy not on the field, expect an uptick in Martellus Bennett‘s and Julian Edelman‘s targets. We all know the 49ers have zero resemblance of a run defense, so LeGarrette Blount would be an ideal DFS pick.

It looks like Larry Fitgerald (knee) is on track to play Sunday against the Vikings. Fitz still has yet to be affected by Father Time, as he is second in the NFL in receptions (68) behind Antonio Brown (69, #nice) and will still be a borderline WR1 against a pretty good secondary.

This is pretty irrelevant news, but I felt that Percy Harvin needed to pop his Roto Street Journal cherry. He’ll most likely be on a snap count, but wouldn’t it be fun if he took a reverse or a screen pass to the house? Rex Ryan does weird shit to please veteran players, so maybe he’ll give him a couple of touches. Imagine if Harvin becomes fantasy relevant in the Bills’ sneaky fun offense?

Quick Hits:

  • Chiefs CB Marcus Peters (hip) has missed consecutive practices; Mike Evans will EAT if Peters doesn’t play.
  • Jordan Howard claims he had an Achilles issue on Sunday, but he’s not listed on the Bears injury report *shrug*
  • Jeremy Maclin (groin) has yet to practice this week
  • Jamaal Charles underwent a second knee surgery, this time on his other knee #ThoughtsandPrayers
  • Tyler Eifert (knee) practiced in full on Thursday
  • Aldon Smith thinks he’s making a comeback; his coach does not agree
