Raiders' RB Latavius Murray wants to play Sunday vs SD, but a foot injury makes it doubtful for now that he will be able to, per sources.

Latavius Murray not practicing again. Malcolm Smith, Nate Allen and Menelik Watson also still out. #Raiders

This news broke late Wednesday night and people with Adam Schefter Twitter alerts (I suggest you do that), quickly added DeAndre Washington and/or Jalen Richard. We were high on Murray heading into the season, but so far, he has been blah. If Washington or Richard can breakout Sunday, then Murray could be in danger of losing his job. Washington had a great preseason and it looks like the coaching staff is high on both, which could lead to a muddy backfield in Oakland. Washington is the RB1, and the one you could start — if desperate — this week.
Julian Edelman added to injury report. Limited with foot injury.

This is bad news for our No. 1 WR DraftKings play of the week. Edelman, who broke that same foot last season, has reportedly aggravated the foot, which limited him in practice today. Hopefully, this is just a day of rest for JE11, because we expected him to explode with his boyfriend back behind center against the Browns. We’ll know more after tomorrow’s injury report and Saturday’s plane trip to Cleveland.

This has been the most annoying injury news in the past two weeks. Expect Big Dick Decker to sit out this week, and start Quincy Enuwa if you have him. Enuwa will get a favorable match-up against the Steelers slot corners, and should have a good game with the opposing defense shifting their coverage towards Brandon Marshall. Hopefully Decker is back soon, or we get a decision on how much time he will miss.
Ron Rivera says only Cam Newton remains in the protocol. Says likely will have a decision by the end of the week.

With the Panthers playing on Monday night against the Buccaneers, this will be a tough one to monitor. Hopefully Riverboat Ron sticks to his word and gives us an answer by Friday, so his owners can scour the waiver wire immediately. If he sits, Joe Flacco is a good option, or check out our Week 5 Quarterback Rankings to make a decision.
Quick Hits:
- Adam Schefter reported that the Bills were re-signing their ex-RB Karlos Williams, then reports stated that the Bills decided to cancel Williams’ workout *sigh of relief from Shady owners*
- Trevor Siemian and Demaryius Thomas were both limited in practice. Siemian will be a game-time decision.
- Rashad Jennings is still limited in practice and he will be someone to monitor tomorrow
- Sunday’s Titans-Dolphins game could be delayed due to Hurricane Matthew. Plan your lineups accordingly and #ThoughtsAndPrayers if you live in that area.
